Was just flipping through an Ulta catalog and something cool caught my eye; Orly has released a collection of nail polish with smudge-fixing technology (AKA, when you get a dent while the manicure is still tacky, the polish will actually fix itself thanks to an elastic, flexible formulation.) I know there are a lot of candle addicts out there, so heres some fun news from AirWick. Theyve developed an ever-changing candle with 3 scents that constantly swirl in and out of rotation (rather than those multi-layered candles which offer 1 scent at a time). Great for those who really like to notice scents throughout the day. Added plus: the labels are completely removable so theyll look chic on your desk or in your home

Sure there are plenty of topcoats out there that can extend the life of your nail polish while adding a good glossy coating, but gel manicures are still far and away the favorite when it comes to longevity. If you have a favorite color thats NOT gel, you may be interested in Ciates Geltox Top Coat ($29), which features a formulation that freezes color, smooths, plumps, and encapsulates any ordinary polish (when used in conjuction with Ciates Geltox curing light).

These days, I count my blessings for so many reasons and yesterday was humbled yet again by my TODAY show family who threw me an adorable Blue is the New Pink shower for my baby-boy-to-be. The one and only Kathie Lee Gifford was beyond gracious, offering to have us party at her place, and the folks at minted provided the loveliest decorations I could have imagined. We all had a fantastic time and I couldnt feel luckier than I do to have such great people helping me welcome my little man into the world.
