The concept of deep-cleansing one's face with an oil-based serum might seem a little counter-intuitive, but the practice of oil-cleansing actually makes a lot of sense. Sebum, skin's natural lubricant and protectant, can be readily dissolved by the right ratio of comedogenic and non-comedogenic oils. These kinds of blends can break up hardened pockets of oil and sebum - freeing pores from stubborn blockages that can cause acne, blackheads, and uneven skin texture.
While the Castor Oil in this blend works to remove excess sebum, nutritive Tomato Seed and Blackberry Seed Oils treat the skin to an intense dose of antioxidants and skin-loving vitamins, minerals, and essential fatty acids. A few drops of balancing Geranium and revitalizing Helichrysum Oil add a boost of anti-aging benefit to the mix, making this serum mask a wonderful treatment for mature skin.
Blackberry & Tomato Seed Oil Serum Mask

Combine the oils and essential oils in a 2 ounce glass bottle and shake well.
Usage & Packaging
Oil serums look lovely in glass bottles. Try using our Amber or Cobalt Bottles to store this and other oil blends.
To use, soak a washcloth in hot water (being careful not to scald your skin), wring the washcloth out slightly, then drape the damp cloth over your face. Allow the steam to warm your skin for about twenty seconds then remove the cloth. Apply up to one tablespoon's worth of oil serum (well shaken) to your skin and massage gently in a circular motion for two full minutes. Soak the washcloth again in hot water, wring it out, then drape it over your face. Allow the steam to warm your face again for about twenty seconds, then gently use the cloth to wipe your face clean. Repeat this step at least two more times or until your skin is completely free of the oil serum. Follow with a toner and moisturizer as needed.
